We invite you to join our amazing gaucho horseride with our experienced South African horseman David along the coast of the Río de la Plata (River Plate) in the charming neighboring city of Colonia del Sacramento (Republic of Uruguay), just one hour by fast ferry from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here you will find also the UNESCO World Heritage listed "Historical Quarter".
Riders need to meet at either the Buquebus port (Av. Antartida Argentina nº821, Buenos Aires, Argentina; map) or the Colonia Express port (Av. Elvira Rawson De Dellepiane nº155, Buenos Aires, Argentina; map), depending on which ferry I have booked you, at least one hour before departure for check in and immigration with your tickets and passports. All the taxis know where the ports are: 15 minutes from the center of Buenos Aires; allow 25 minutes from Palermo quarter.
Enjoy an approximately 2 - 2½ hour horse ride to the beach through beautiful countryside.
The experienced riders can enjoy a good canter or gallop on the endless beach; and for the lesser experienced a leisurely stroll or trot and a paddle in the water with the horse are options.
If you're not sure yet, see the video!
